The animation uses a small 5 rpm motor, a 6 inch disk of 1/4 inch plywood, and four O scale barnyard animals in walking poses.
Be sure that your motor can be safely placed on or near plywood and other combustibles.
To help with the illusion, a feeding cow is attached to the corner of the Plasticville barn, so as the turntable spins, this cow remains stationary. The barn door thresholds have been removed.
Notice how lichen is used to help conceal the gap where the turntable meets the layout surface. A few more details are needed in the scene now that it commands more attention. Perhaps a few flowers will add a little more color.
